Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closing and reconciliation
- Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Lead internal audits and ensure adherence to UK GAAP/IFRS standards
- Maintain robust financial controls and documentation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic planning
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in London
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle) and Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in UK tax regulations and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing financial audits and regulatory reporting
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
