Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyse financial statements ensuring compliance with UK GAAP
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for 2024 fiscal year
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy
- Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations and tax filings
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks)
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead accounting teams and manage deadlines
- Experience in multinational financial operations preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
