Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 150+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage attachments, deductions, and tax withholdings
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in real-time
- Generate year-end W-2s and 1099 forms while maintaining compliance with CA labor laws
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and clients within 24 hours
- Implement internal controls for audit readiness and data security
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent proficiency
- Expert knowledge of CA wage orders and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven ability to meet strict payroll deadlines under pressure
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant certification (CPP preferred)
