Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wage deductions for taxes, benefits, and child support
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with banking institutions
- Prepare quarterly tax filings (941, 940, state unemployment) and year-end W-2s
- Maintain compliance with FLSA, IRS regulations, and Tennessee labor laws
- Support HR with new hire onboarding and payroll-related documentation
- Generate payroll reports for CFO and external auditors
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with ADP/Workforce Now
- Deep knowledge of federal/state payroll tax regulations and garnishment laws
- Proficient in Excel with advanced formula skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- CPP certification (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing (TN, KY, GA)
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in payroll calculations
- Ability to meet urgent deadlines in high-volume payroll cycles
