Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for over 200 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure accurate data entry for timekeeping, hourly rates, and overtime calculations.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual federal and state payroll tax reports.
- Maintain up-to-date employee payroll files and ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive financial data.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding pay stubs and deductions.
- Collaborate with the HR department to update employee records and benefit deductions.
- Assist with year-end audits and 1099 processing as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing, ADP, or Paychex.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and tax compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Google Workspace.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect errors quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for employee interactions.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines during payroll runs.
