Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using [Company Name] payroll software.
- Verify employee timecards, leave requests, and tax documents for accuracy.
- Calculate and process commissions, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll tax reports (state and federal) for timely filing.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and HR-related inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and filing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar finance role.
- Working knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and FLSA requirements.
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) required.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
