Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures and financial reporting with strict deadlines
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Analyze financial data and prepare variance reports for senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during global handover periods
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
- Assist in audit preparations and regulatory compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years of relevant experience
- CPA or advanced accounting certification strongly preferred
- Proven expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Exceptional attention to detail with high-volume transactional experience
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM CT)
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex financial scenarios
- Remote work experience with reliable high-speed internet connection
- Experience with multi-currency accounting systems a plus
