Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret changes in federal, state, and local laws and regulations to ensure organizational adherence.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs for staff.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to government agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related inquiries and issues.
- Collaborate with legal and senior management to address regulatory challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar regulatory role.
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws (e.g., SEC, FINRA, or state banking regulations).
- Professional certifications such as CFE, CPA, or CFA are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
