In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting the accounting department with daily operations. Your work will directly contribute to the financial integrity of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and reporting.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems for financial documents.
- Prepare routine financial reports and assist with data entry using accounting software.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding billing and account status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
