Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all tax filings and withholdings are current.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax packages and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the finance manager to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial staff.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
