Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Process monthly payroll and reconcile bank statements
- Prepare VAT returns and manage HMRC correspondence
- Generate management accounts and cash flow forecasts
- Assist with year-end accounts and audit preparations
- Implement bookkeeping process improvements
- Provide financial insights to senior management
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience in a UK setting
- Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification essential
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Relevant degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
