Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Coordinate with auditors during tax season and year-end processes
- Implement and optimize accounting workflows for efficiency
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in urgent environments
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
