Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for commercial and residential clients
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and payment issues within SLAs
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams on contract invoicing
- Generate monthly revenue reports and KPI dashboards
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA) and tax laws
- Lead month-end closing procedures and reconciliation activities
- Train junior staff on billing system protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in medical or commercial billing
- Expertise in Epic, Meditech, or similar billing software
- Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Proven problem-solving with AR aging reports
- Strong analytical skills for revenue cycle optimization
- Exceptional communication for client negotiations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
