Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Reconcile accounts receivable monthly to resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with patients and payers regarding billing inquiries
- Ensure HIPAA/GAAP compliance in all billing operations
- Generate and analyze billing performance reports
- Train staff on billing system updates and best practices
- Collaborate with collections team to resolve overdue accounts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in Epic or NextGen billing systems
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
