- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding and documentation compliance
- Generate monthly billing reports for financial leadership review
- Train staff on updated billing procedures and regulatory changes
- Conduct quarterly audits of billing documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Expertise in Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
