Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute accurate invoices within 24 hours of service completion
- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account reconciliation
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports and collection processes
- Collaborate with insurance providers for claim verification and appeals
- Update patient records and billing systems with real-time corrections
- Prepare monthly revenue reports for executive leadership review
- Train staff on billing protocols and compliance updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 codes
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) designation preferred
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA and billing compliance regulations
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume deadlines with 99% accuracy
