- Conduct monthly audits of charge capture and coding accuracy
- Train staff on billing best practices and regulatory updates (CMS, HIPAA)
- Develop dashboards tracking KPIs: days in AR, denial rates, first-pass resolution
- Collaborate with collections department for high-balance account resolution
- Implement process improvements reducing billing cycle time by 15%+
Qualifications
- 5+ years medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Revenue Cycle Manager (RCM) credential
- Expertise in Epic or NextGen EHR billing modules
- Advanced proficiency in CPT/ICD-10 coding and NCCI edits
