- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies through direct communication with payers and clients
- Maintain detailed records of billing transactions using advanced ERP software
- Generate monthly financial reports and aging accounts receivable summaries
- Collaborate with collections team to recover outstanding payments efficiently
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations (CMS, HIPAA)
- Train new staff on billing protocols and software utilization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or commercial billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or comparable billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and reimbursement methodologies
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Experience managing high-volume accounts receivable cycles
