Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex billing statements with 99.8% accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve payment discrepancies within 48 hours
- Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and claims processing
- Generate monthly financial reports and identify revenue optimization opportunities
- Maintain HIPAA/GDPR compliance in all billing documentation
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar billing software
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) credential preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Exceptional problem-solving with attention to numerical precision
