Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors efficiently.
- Prepare and execute weekly payment runs for the weekend schedule.
- Communicate proactively with vendors regarding payment status and invoice questions.
- Manage the filing of invoices and maintain organized digital records for audit purposes.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas are required).
- Familiarity with AP software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle high volumes of data with zero errors.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a regular basis.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
