Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices with high precision.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and trial balances.
- Manage payroll processing for night shift employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain the general ledger and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure data accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team regarding urgent financial matters.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
