In this role, you will be the backbone of our accounting operations, ensuring financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations. You will work closely with management to provide insights that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly with high accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including trial balances and financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and audits.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel to generate financial reports and analyze variances.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP or similar platforms preferred).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional certification (CPA, CMA, or AA).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
