Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to maintain financial integrity.
- Support the budgeting process and assist in variance analysis.
- Conduct internal audits and cost analysis to improve operational efficiency.
- Communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliation, and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
