Job Overview:
As an Accountant, you will ensure that our financial data is processed accurately and efficiently during the weekend operations. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain compliance and optimize financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and quarterly filings.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documentation and contracts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and accurately during weekend shifts.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CPA certification is a plus.
