Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly general ledger reconciliations and financial audits.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls and GAAP accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during weekend shifts.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
