Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Generate payroll reports for finance and HR leadership
- Collaborate with auditors during annual payroll audits
- Maintain confidential employee payroll data
- Stay updated on evolving payroll legislation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, garnishment laws, and state regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
