Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger and account reconciliation processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Resolve complex accounting discrepancies and provide detailed financial analysis reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely vendor payments and accurate revenue recognition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
