Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Process payroll for clients accurately and on a timely basis.
- Prepare and generate financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
- Organize and file financial documentation and receipts.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.
