Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure GAAP compliance
- Process payroll and coordinate tax filings with third-party providers
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate annual audits and assist with tax preparation documentation
- Generate financial reports for management decision-making support
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Proficient in MS Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and Texas tax regulations
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
