Responsibilities
- Manage complex accounting cycles including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead client engagements in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and tax preparation
- Implement and optimize accounting software solutions (QuickBooks, Sage)
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation
