Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Manage complex general ledger operations with multi-entity accounting
- Conduct comprehensive reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Develop and maintain internal controls ensuring SOX compliance
- Provide strategic financial consulting to clients in manufacturing and healthcare sectors
- Supervise accounting staff and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Jacksonville-based firms
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record managing SEC filings and multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing presentations
- Proficient with GAAP and evolving FASB regulations
- Valid Florida CPA license required
