Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure smooth cash flow management.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and annual audits.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for management.
- Perform internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and GAAP standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
