Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for 50+ client portfolios
- Process high-volume transactions including accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements and VAT returns
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Assist with payroll processing and HMRC submissions
- Implement and maintain robust bookkeeping systems
- Support annual audits and tax compliance activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proven expertise with Xero and QuickBooks software
- AAT Level 4 or equivalent qualification essential
- Advanced MS Excel skills with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table mastery
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
