Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment posting, and reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account issues with vendors and clients
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Maintain compliance with billing regulations and company policies
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial statements
- Support month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional billing experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
