- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and private payer regulations
- Generate monthly billing reports and analyze aging accounts receivable
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy and documentation
- Manage denial management process and appeal submissions
- Train staff on billing procedures and updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar EMR/billing systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Experience with third-party payer requirements and reimbursement policies
