Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and support the annual external audit process.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed financial reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA eligibility is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
