Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger and ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial data for errors or anomalies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting processes and financial controls.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
