Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Prepare VAT returns and basic tax documentation under supervision
- Support audit processes by gathering financial documentation
- Manage expense reports and vendor invoice processing
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) for data entry
- Participate in quarterly financial reporting preparation
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C/4+
- A-levels or equivalent in a numerate subject preferred
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
- Ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
