Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and corporate income tax returns accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax liabilities, credits, and filings.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and laws.
- Assist in tax planning, research, and special projects for high-net-worth clients.
- Maintain accurate client records, tax files, and documentation in our secure system.
- Collaborate with the senior tax team to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software (e.g., ProSeries, Drake, Lacerte).
- CPA, EA, or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
