Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and spreadsheets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing documentation.
- Process payroll transactions and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding account inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
