- Prepare individual and corporate tax returns using ProSystem fx and Lacerte
- Conduct client consultations to optimize tax strategies
- Research complex tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Manage audit support documentation and IRS communications
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on case reviews
- Maintain accurate client records in tax software systems
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA candidates strongly preferred)
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or CCH Axcess)
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and Florida tax codes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion
- Valid Florida CPA license or actively pursuing certification
