Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to assess creditworthiness of corporate clients
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for lending committee review
- Monitor existing credit portfolios for early warning indicators and recommend mitigations
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit facilities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (FRB, OCC)
- Lead complex credit investigations involving multi-jurisdictional entities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO) and Excel
- Deep understanding of SEC filings and GAAP/IFRS standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with credit risk platforms (e.g., Moody's RiskAuthority)
