Responsibilities
- Deliver premium customer service through in-person transactions, account inquiries, and problem resolution
- Process complex transactions including wire transfers, check cashing, and foreign currency exchanges
- Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities for credit cards, loans, and investment products
- Maintain strict compliance with federal banking regulations and internal security protocols
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures and service standards
- Reconcile daily cash balances and prepare audit documentation
- Participate in branch initiatives to enhance customer experience metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in banking or financial services
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets in a customer service environment
- Proficiency with core banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Successful completion of background check and FINRA Series 6/63 preparation
