Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and provide compliance guidance on complex tax matters
- Analyze financial statements to identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with senior team members on tax planning strategies
- Utilize tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx) for efficient processing
- Maintain accurate client documentation and electronic filing systems
- Stay updated on current tax legislation and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience (public accounting preferred)
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification highly desirable
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client service skills
