Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with IRS regulations
- Assist in tax planning strategies for corporate clients
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with audit and accounting teams
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH, etc.) for data analysis
- Maintain accurate client records and tax documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Knowledge of NJ/NY tax regulations
