Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership federal and state income tax returns with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with changing tax laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and explain complex tax concepts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax planning strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax software and filing procedures.
- Participate in year-end audit support and tax calendar management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation (fresh graduates with internship experience considered).
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte, Drake, or TaxWise).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
