Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including monthly and annual financial statements for review.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Conduct detailed audits of financial records and expense reports to ensure adherence to company policies and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting processes and financial reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger functions, and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
