Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support audit preparations and documentation requests
- Implement and improve financial controls and processes
- Collaborate with team members on budgeting and forecasting activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with precision
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Experience with construction or real estate accounting a plus
