Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor management and client billing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial audit processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
