Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the annual audit process, providing requested documentation and explanations to external auditors.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process for multiple departments.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or finance is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or candidate status is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with cross-functional teams.
